Getting to Rukwanzi Country Haven
By road
The most direct route from Uganda’s Capital, Kampala, is through the towns of Mityana, Mubende, Kyegegwa, Kyenjojo and Fort Portal City in Kabarole District where we are located. It is 297 kilometres from Kampala to Fort Portal and then 26 kilometres from Fort Portal City off Kamwenge Road just outside Kibale Forest National Park. The ride currently takes about five hours.
By Air
Either take a one-hour commercial flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kasese Airfield, and then transfer by road in an hour (45 kilometres); or fly direct by helicopter and land on our premises.
